Airbrush Nails

The airbrush is a device with which unique nail designs can be created. It is used in the technique of painting nails by spraying special paints.
The professional airbrush offers the possibility of creating various designs – simpler or more complex, depending on preferences.
Although it is intended for professional use, this device is not difficult to use and, with a little skill, it can be used by anyone.

How to use the nail airbrush

As in any technique used, before starting to paint the nails, make sure to clean them and shape them as desired. Then clean and degrease the surface of the nails, after which apply the base layer. You can cover the cuticles with a protective tape, to prevent any potential stains.
After you have chosen the paint and the template with the desired design, you can proceed to using the airbrush. Keep in mind a few tips for a correct application:

• the farther you hold the airbrush from the nails, the lower its covering power will be and vice versa. If you hold it closer, its covering power will be greater;
• the paint can be sprayed in a thin layer, but if you want a more intense layer, you need to spray it for a longer time. With a single shade, multiple shades or even gradients (ombre technique) can be obtained;
• just like in the gel technique, manicures created with airbrush and acrylic paints, require sealing with top coat. Thus, after achieving the desired result, do not forget to seal the manicure with top coat.
