Tips & Tricks
Choosing the right products for the best results
Depending on your client’s natural nails and the desired outcome, selecting the right products and techniques is key to achieving long-lasting results.
For a semi-permanent manicure with an apex using a Timeless base:
- Always apply Nail Prep and Nail Bonder beforehand. Since these bases have a low acidity level, this step improves adhesion to the natural nail.
- If working on problematic nails, add a thin layer of clear base (such as Gum Base or Rubber Base Clear) for extra strength.
- Shape a proper apex. Immediately after curing, these bases have higher flexibility. To ensure optimal durability, build a correct apex. If the base is applied too thinly or without a proper apex, the nails may be at risk of breaking.
- For very thin nails prone to lifting at the edges, finish the manicure by carefully removing excess natural nail from underneath using a special under-refill drill bit.
Storage recommendations: Keep at a moderate room temperature: 15-25°C.
