With the help of special bags, sterilization of instruments is done much easier and the sterile effects are preserved for up to 5 years.
The special bags are equipped with a sterilization indicator and are self-sealing.
Instructions for use:
- Insert the desired instrument into the bag and press the bag to remove the air;
- Seal the bag by folding the edge where it reads "fold/bend here";
- Place each bag into the sterilizer. Avoid any contact with the sterilizer's metal tray or with another bag in the case of steam sterilization;
- The bags are approved for use in steam sterilization processes at temperatures of 250F - 270F (132°C) for a maximum of 30 minutes or at dry temperature up to 130°C for 30 minutes. The melting point of the materials is 419°F (215°C). Follow the sterilization instructions according to the sterilizer's usage instructions (change of indicator color does not guarantee sterilization). The sterilizer must be checked and calibrated periodically;
- Allow the packets to cool in the sterilizer for 5-10 minutes after the entire process.
- Open the bag by tearing the strip.
WARNING!
Do not introduce instruments with water or wet! The humidity of the instruments leads to burning and explosion of the packaging. The bags should not be overlapped; otherwise, they will melt.
The maximum sterilization temperature is 130 °C
