Description
Foil Gel is a special gel designated for the transfer foil technique. It is particularly used for applying full nail foil (over the entire nail) or for applying to a defined area of a larger surface.
After curing, Foil Gel provides a very adhesive layer and thus guarantees the perfect transfer of the design from the transfer foil onto the nail.
How to apply:
- Apply a thin and even layer of Foil Gel over the entire nail surface (in the case of full nail decor); if you want to transfer a design only on a certain section, use a painting brush to apply the Foil Gel on the desired surface or with the intended pattern;
- Cure for 60-90 seconds in an LED lamp or 3 minutes in a UV lamp;
- Apply the transfer foil
Recommendations and tips:
- Depending on the color of the transfer foil or the specificity of the design on the foil, choose to apply, before Foil Gel, a colored gel that flatters you: of a color close to that of the foil or, on the contrary, a light color when you want to achieve contrast.
- In the case of full nail application, after performing the transfer, finish the sides and nail tip finely with a file and make sure that both in the cuticle area and on the tips and sides, there remains a clean area of 0.5-1 mm (without foil) to be able to perfectly seal the nail. If the finish cannot adhere to the gel applied before the foil and remains solely on the surface of the transfer foil, there is a risk that the foil will peel off later.
